Default Micro Matrix V Drive

Has anyone had the chance to try this rest. I was told that they are still several weeks away from shipping them to dealers. I want to try one on my new Ovation.
Thanks,
bmott

Before I would buy one, someone would first have to point out to me WHY you would NEED this on a multi pin sight. On a single pin sight I can understand why. This is what I shoot. It is set on 20yds adn I have marking that I can adjust for 30,40 etc. But with a multi pin sight, after you find "zero" with your 20yd pin then you go to work on your 30, 40 etc.
The only reason I can see for this sight is if you are constantly changing between different weights of points or arrow configurations for whatever reason. Even then if you moved the sight the 20 might be right but you may still have to change every other pin individually.
To me it just seems like a way to gouge money out of your pocket for something that is "new and improved"

OOOps...you said rest and I read sight...my bad[&o]

not for nothing but ,i have to agree with mlaubner, i just got the new guide series matrix without the "v drive" it works just fine and dandy. i don't know why you would need it with a multipin sight? they do make it in a single pin model called the mantis ,i believe it is also a pendulem sight go to trophyridge for more info.
OOPS sorry i thought you were talking about a sight also,my bad
if you are talking about the drop zone ,now that is an awesome rest!

The new V-Drive system is AWESOME!!! This is without a doubt, THE best mover system I've seen yet. Super easy and very few moving parts. I plan on getting my hands on the 3-pin Matrix with the V-Drive very soon but for now I love my MANTIS.
