Default "First cut" mechanical broadhead by Eastman

I have had several guys at different stores try to sell me this broadhead, just wondering if there is any feedback about them. Or if 5 shot has done any field tests. thanks

I tested these out into a mekenzie 3d target afer 2nd shot a blade broke off, this happened 2 times so their durability is a bit suspect.

Eastman bought Game Tracker and these heads are the same heads that were produced by Game tracker under the same name.

I think, I may be wrong, 5 Shot tested these heads a while back before Eastman bought out Game Tracker and they did so-so.

If eastman didn't do anything to improve them then they are just average at best. Not terrible, but not great by any stretch. I think thier are much better choices that won't cost that much more.

thanks for the info, I'm probably going to shoot the stinger 2 blade, or the one that has the 2 little bleeder blades. Just wondering what mech head performed the best in your tests. thanks 5er.

I guess it depends on what your looking for. All the Vortex heads did well, along with scorpions, snypers gators, shockwaves, steelheads and many others. These are just some heads I can recall off the top of my head.
