Default Can I take my peep out?

Can I take my peep sight out or do I have to have a press? If I take it out will it change my tune of my bow? I mean it looks like it will make the string a touch longer. I also have a Zebra string, will it go back together right?

sure you can take it out. easy, just stick a pencil in the sting above and below the peep and pop it out.you will not be able to measure the string length difference [very little]

eck yeah you can remove it. just do what the man said. Use a pencil or popsicle stick or something thats not sharp to hold the string apart and take out your peep. then remove the tool used. You will not notice any difference in string length.
