Default Extreme Sniper sight with dove tail mount?

How is everyone' s season so far??? I have a TR matrix 3pin right now and I love it but I have seen the Extreme Sniper sight with the dove tail mount and I am thinking of going with it at the end of the season. I like the fact it is all alumimum and the sight housing is a little smaller. Does anyone know anything about these sights that I might need to know??

Not too familiar with them, other than that the Realtree guys use them. Look like very good sights though.

the new spott hogg hunter sights seem to be a better built and stronger sight and i think they are a little bit cheaper to buy

I' ve had one for the last 2 deer & 3D seasons and it is a solid sight. In my opinion the .029 pins light up well in low light conditions and are protected well by the housing. I tried a Copper Johns sight about 2 months ago and broke the fiberoptic on one of the pins just shooting my Razortec. The housing is also quite a bit smaller than the CJ and I like that so I can center it in my peep. These are just my thoughts and with those and .50 you can buy a cup of coffee.

Thank you for the info. I trying to compare it to the TR matrix. Have you had any experiance with this sight? I like the sniper because of the smaller sight housing but mostly for the dove tail mount. Somebody was saying something about the Spott hog I think they also have a sight with a dove tail mount. I am just trying expand my options. Thank you for the reply.

What is the advantage of a dovetail mount? I have a Spot-Hogg Right On and it is a very sturdy sight. However, for my old eyes, the fiber optics could be brighter.

I like the idea of the dove tail because you can bring the sight housing closer or further out to get it to line up with your peep just right and you can take it of while transporting your bow ie. airlines and so on. It is a personnel preferance mostly I guess I did put the blue LED light on my Trophy ridgr and it looks like a STOP light at dawn and dusk, even at the range it helps with glare from light. The Sniper sight can use the same light concept also. I believe your spott hog has a light option also. I did also look at the Spot-Hogg, Hogg-it sight and it looks strong.
