RE: Goldtip Gladiator Broadhead?
I tested them a couple of years ago. I found them to be durable, sharp, and well made. They shoot more like a fixed blade head than a mechanical but they still shoot well. If you have at least 60 ft/lbs of KE with your setup they should work great on deer size game.

RE: Goldtip Gladiator Broadhead?
I harvested a doe (~50#) with one tonight. Shot-14 yards. Deer ran down hill to the creek. Distance via LRF where she lay-38 yards.
but.....I found my arrow sticking in the dirt. Went to admire the broadhead and it was not there. The broadhead broke off within the insert. My Lock-nock also broke off. As I was re-tracing my deers footsteps, I found the body of my broadhead about 4 yards from where she lay. Shot it as a 4 blade, came out as a 2 blade.
I am no physicist, but I' m confused how this could happen. Not complaining though--the deer ran 24 yards.
