RE: Help find a new climber
jerseyhunter,I' am 6-4,215lbs...Go with the Summit Viper, you won' t be sorry.Remember this, there is a lot of stands out there, alot of good ones too,but when you check out how much they weight, thats when you going to see a big difference. All of Summits stands weight between 16-21lbs,alot of the others can go as much as 30 something lbs. That does make a difference!!...Bob

6' 4" 230 lbs here and I would also suggest the Summit Revolution. I picked one up to use as a stand for times when I plan on spending extended periods of time out there in the woods. The design of the stand lends itself to very comfortable seating, especially for long periods of time.
All of the Summit stands are excellent in design and construction but I like the Revolution for that little bit extra comfort.

Try emailing Ricky Cook. owner of Back Fifty Tree Stands. I bought one and WOW !! This thing is more comfortable than a Lounge and way more sturdy.

RE: Help find a new climber
I would recomend the Summit Viper. I recently got the Summit Viper Ultra and it is by far the best stand I have ever used. It is very comfortable, it is quiet and it takes very little time to set it up and climb to your desired hieght. Remember, you get what you pay for .
