Wasp Boss 100gr help
I saw these the other day at Gander and I was quite intrigued. The price was much less than a muzzy with a similar profile. I noticed the blades were swept back somewhat which appears as though it could aid in accuracy...much like the muzzy with practice blades. The cutting diameter at 1 1/8 inches is very respectable. I' m just wondering if anyone as used this head and what some experiences have been with it. How sharp are the blades, accuracy, penetration on game results, etc. Any info would be greatly appreciatted. Thank you all.

RE: Wasp Boss 100gr help
Doc, I am shooting these heads this year, but have yet to take a deer with them yet. Season opened 4 day' s ago. I can tell you that they fly identical to my field points, and look like a very well made head. Very similar to Muzzy' s but the tips are a little smaller in diameter and sharper than Muzzy' s. Also like the way the blades line up with the cutting edges of the tip. Blade sharpness is fair, I' ve seen better, I' ve seen worse, but overall, I really like the design of this head. Can' t wait to take my first deer with them, I' ll let you know how they perform.

RE: Wasp Boss 100gr help
I shot the Wasp SST (100 gr.) for several years. I' ve
had pass through' s on big whitetails and javilina. I
even accidently shot a big flower pot in the back-
yard[]...and the tip was just like I took it out of
the package. They flew well, penetrated well, and
have been the strongest BH I have used. Last year
I shot 4 blade 100 gr. Muzzy' s, and now I am back
to using Wasp' s....the 100 gr. Boss, the BH you are
referring to. They fly right with my field tips and
are just, plain wicked looking....I have no doubt
they will be everything I' m looking for in a BH.
The cut on the 100 gr. SST is 1 3/16" and the cut on
the Boss is 1 1/8" . I personally feel the blades are
more than sharp enough, definitely sharper than
the Muzzy' s I used.
No animals with the Boss BH' s yet, but check back
around Thanksgiving...hopefully I' ll have some
pics and a update.
Good Luck
