Default BATTERY LIFE AND BRAND OF GAME CAMERA

What brand of game camera do you own and what is the average battery life of the detector and also of the camera itself?
I have a DC100 NOntypical. The two lithium9v batteries have lasted me over 3 months. Camera battery lasts one month.

My Camtrakkers run on 4-" c" cell batteries, there is
no battery for the camera which is nice. During
warmer temps (above 32 degrees) I will change
the batteries every 5-6 weeks....during cold
weather (below 32 degrees) I' ll change them
every 3-4 weeks.

I put new batteries in at these times before
they run dead. It may lose some $$ with battery
life, but the last thing I want is a camera hanging
on a tree with dead batteries[:@].

I have yet to check a camera with the batteries
dead, so I really don' t know what the actual life
of the batteries would be, though I doubt it would
be much longer.

Trailtimer Photohunter - Camera runs on 2 - AA batteries, the senor runs on 1 - 9 volt. Both are lithium! I get 3 to 3 1/2 months on the whole set-up. Thats usually about 160-175 photos.

Good Luck!

Stealth Cam- model MC2-G. Booklet says that on 8 AA batteries the unit should last 21 days. I have only used mine for a few days here and there so I cannot attest to this. I am at about 10 days with no signs of running out at this point.
