Default Impact Cosmic sight

Has anyone got feedback on this sight. You can see it on page 48 of Cabela' s Archery catalog. I assume it only comes right handed as it doesn' t say and that usually is an indicator of such. It looks like you can reverse the ring for left handed use but don' t know about the bracket.

Just got mine put on this afternoon. It was a blast getting it dialed in. I got mine off of ebay and it is in perfect condition. I shoot lefty, this was labled lefty and I don' t see any way you could mount the bracket to a righty bow. The sight housing comes off and you can do whatever you want to with it, but I don' t see how you could swap the bracket. This is the brightest sight I have ever seen, to the point where it kind of glowed at last light. Possibly too bright as far as I am concerned, but I am going to like it, I can already tell. It has two lock downs, meaning there is now way I could make an adjustment at full draw. Probably gonna set it on whatever I think my average shot will be, get a big dip of fresh cope and let the hunt begin. Can' t wait.

the cosmic and cosmic xl both can be changed from left to right. all you have to do is take the bolts out of the sight ring and you can pull the pin and fiber part out and switch it out to the left side.

i have a cosimic xl that is three mounths old i would like to sell it is set up for left hand and has a .019 pin. it is very bright! it is not a bad sight it is just too bright for me. if intersted email @ [email protected].

What a great sight. A couple of months ago I switched to a copper john and only had it on my bow for a month. Went back to the cosmic and gained all my confidence back. I have mine set for 20 yards and adjust to the yardage I plan on shooting.

I just had one put on about a week ago and I love it! I don' t quite under stand how a fiber optic sight can be too bright. Obviously I have not hunted with it yet, but I can' t wait to see how bright it is in low light conditions.

I have one and I love it , I was shooting mine outside at 9 oclock a couple days ago, I could still see the pin when I couldnt see if my arrow was on the rest. As for changing to left hand, It looks like you could turn the bracket over and remove the aperture and put it on the other side of the bracket. I took my aperture off the original slider and put it on a Toxonics slider that I had lying around, I now have more range(for targets) and it seemss quieter than the inpact(the impact slider always seemed to vibrate if I didnt check both locking nuts often). Over all it seems like a super sight

I just put the new Cosmic on my bow Sunday and I just love it .I picked it up off of E-bay I could not find this sight anywhere in Canada.
I was shooting bullet' s at 50yrds and there was lots of room for more range ,I' m not sure if I' ll like not being able to set my ranges quickly but if I set it at a mid range maybe it will be O.K.It is by far the brightest sight I' ve seen

If you buy one. get the .019 pin. The .029 is too big! The small one is still really really bright!

Good Luck!

I have one on my Bowtech with the .029 pin. This size of the pin hasn' t been an issue for me, but I think the smaller pin would be better, if it' s just as bright. I don' t think you can find a brighter sight.
