Does anyone use this fletching jig to fletch their own arrows? IF so, would you recommend it? If not what is a good fletching jig besides the bitzenberger? Thanks!

T-23,
Go with the Bitz. It is the easiest and most accurate/efficient rig to fletch with.
I had this preconcieved notion that fletching was going to be terribly difficult to do...it isn' t. Not only is it easy it is also very theraputic for me...I am the father of 5 small boys and like the quiet time.

I also looked at the Arizona before I bought the Bitz.
I am gald I bought the Bitz!!!

myfirst jig was an arizona ,it was junk! i have a jo-jan multi fletcher you can fletch 6 arrows at once . the blitz is good and there are several other good ones on the market ! but i believe the jo-jan is the only one you can do 6 at once!

It`s not very accurate. It`s very hard to get the correct distance between vanes when you release the spring.

I agree with benhuntin. It' s great for the person who does a handful of arrows at a time. I' ve used mine for years.

If someone tried to give me another, Id runaway fast. [] I hated the one I had. The bitz is great but Grayling makes one similar and cheaper that works as well.

Just practice a few times and you' ll figure out the glue amount you' ll need. You will love it once you get good. JDinAB
