Yeah I mean completely steer clear of a line due to its grip. C'mon.

If I were you i'd shoot both bows and then also branch out and check out some others. If you like the smallness of the black ice then check out the dxt in mathews.

Shoot em both! Throw in the hoyt alphamax, ross carnivore, pse bow madness, shoot them too. Then decide haha. Good luck. To me its like picking the best looking girl out of a room of super models

I recntly purchased a Diamond Razor Edge, when i bought it I liked it cause it was so small but yet had 70 lb limbs, now that i have bought it I have been looking on the internet about it and its a kids bow, its set on 55 lbs and shoots 303 fps(ibo) I really like it, the only thing is the let of is only about 60% but thast fine with me. Most people just buy Mathews cause of the name, when it comes down to it I myself dont like them.

Yes, unfortunately I will stay away from an entire bow line like Mathews because of the grip style. I prefer the way a Diamond/Bowtech, Hoyt, Ross or Elite grip feels. That is just me and not everybody, but if it is not comfortable in my hand I won't overlook it just so i can shoot the brand. I really don't care what the bow is called, as long as it is comfortable, reliable, provides good performance and is a good hunter.

It is not that I think Mathews doesn't make a quality product, they just don't fit me. There are quite a few people that don't shoot Mathews due to the grip. I have even tried after market grips on the Mathews bows as well and they were not good enough for me.

The Reezen was not out yet when I bought my bow last year but I chose the Diamond Marquis over the Mathews Drenalin & DXT after shooting them. I love my Diamond.

Keep in mind the 2010's come out very soon, so the 2009's should go on clearance. Also keep in mind that Bowtech/Diamond is the only way to go!
