RE: scott longhorn III
The Longhorn series of releases are good solid BT releases.
When it comes to a pure BT release like the Scott Longhorn, Zenith, Stan , Carter, or any of the others, they all operate pretty much the same. What it comes down to is how it feels in your hand.
I have been through more BT releases than I care to think about looking for "the one". For me, it turned out to be a Zenith 4 finger, but your hands are probably different than mine and your mileage may vary.
I would recomend that you bite the bullet and get a little bit of coaching when learning to shoot your BT release. It will go a long way as well as probably keep you from punching yourself in the mouth or knocking yourself out.........I have seen it happen.
