What r the differences in the two model years and if a man could pick an 08 model up for $600 would he be better off by doing so? Thanks stick and stringers

I've shot both and I had the same choice you did, an 08 for $625 or an 09 for $799. I shot both with the mindset that price did not matter, I'd take the bow that fit me best. The 08 was a hair faster and I didn't like the 80% letoff for the 09, it's just too muchletoff for a speed bowbut come to think of it, I don't like 80% letoff for any bow, they are just too hard to shoot IMO. I still can't figure out why P&Y does not allow 80% letoff as I think80%a handicap more than an advantage.

I've got the '08, but have shot the '09. The '09s have a higher letoff, and seem to be a bit smoother. I love my '08, and if you can pick one up for $600, do it. The '09s are a bit smoother, with a less aggressive draw profile...they have an actual 'valley' instead of an abrupt letoff, but shoot just as fast, just as quietly, with just as little shock. That being said, because of the customer service I've gotten from PSE, I'd buy something else. PSE is about the most expensive brand on the market now, but customer service has gotten short shrift. If service is important to you, you might want to consider something else. If only the bow is, I'm not sure there's a better one made than the PSE.

Hello all , this is my first post on the forum. I purchases a 08 PSE X-Force TSfor $600 and it is well worth the money. It is smooth, rediculousfast, vibration free and very quite to draw plus the biggest buying point for me was 28" axel to axel for treestand and groundblind hunting. I recommend it highly.

you must of heard this a thousand time but shoot them both and decide....but that being said if you have the extra money to buy a bow go with the newer one...i love the 08 but the 09 with 80% is insane.........

I'd go with the 08. 80% is too much letoff for a speed bow (or anybow for that matter). You go from hard pull to no pull. Try emboth but I think you'll see what I mean.Either way, you'll begettinga fine bow. I thinkthe dreamseason isthe best bow ever manufactured to dateand I've shot em all.

Not many people shoot this bow compared to the other big dogs, they have no idea what they are missing which is fine by me.
