RE: PSE X-Force

ORIGINAL: western outdoors

I shot the new GX X-Force today (unfortunately I didn't get to try the Dream Season). All I have to say is, I was going to get one of the new Bowtechs once I saw the release of the new pictures. Well, not anymore. They fixed everything I didn't like about last years X-Force. The draw length is more accurate, it has a valley now, and it has a nice 80% letoff. I can now comfortably sit and hold the bow without it wanting to rip my shoulder out of socket. The bow had no vibration and was pretty quiet as well. Pretty IMPRESSIVE for a speed bow. The only negative I would say about it is that it has kind of an abrupt drop into the valley. But I'd take it anyday just to have that valley now compared to last years model. Plus, I think your muscles will train themselves to the new draw. All I can say is if you are thinking of getting a new bow, try one of the new X-Forces before buying one of the others. I'm saving up right now for a Dream Season.
I know exactly what you are saying about the muscle training on the rough draw (i shoota general:D) and you really can train your muscles to a rough draw. in fact, when i go to shoot other bows, they are hard for me to draw b/c they arent rough lol!

btw, i wouldnt hesitate to own an xforce now that ive seen them in action. at first i just thought it was some dumb gimmick when they came out a couple years ago, but until last year i would have never believed that pse would make a bow that good. Ive shot tons of bows, and imho it is one of the best bows on the market today.
