Default Bucknasty strings

im thinking of ordering one to have just in case this fuse string wears out this season. Does anyone with one have any photos of one installed? How do you like?

This fuse string is ok, but it looks like its wearing out quickly

Hey me again. John (BuckNasty) makes the best. I have installed 11 sets and have one on order with him right now. This is about the best picture I have of my Katera XL with his strings. I replaced the fuse strings right away which gives me a backup if I have to have one but John's are rock solid.

Did you get the QAD all setup?

Don't have any pics as my camera is out of commission, but do yourself a favor. Order the Bucknasty strings and put them on your bow. Use the old shot-in Fuse strings for spares if ever you need them.

I just dont like the looks of the fuse.. its fuzzy and looks 4 years old. Even after waxing, the fuzzies come back within 10 shots.

Im waiting for him to pm me back but I plan on ordering one.

WI, check your pms but yes the QAD's back up and running

What wax are you using? Some of the waxes are almost like candle wax and don't penetrate the string very well. The wax is just on the surface. The trick to waxing is to use a gummy type like ML-6 or White Lightning and rub it in real good, creating just enough heat that the wax permeates the string.
