Bucknasty or not?

Its green/tan..the serving is tan also it looks like the stock cuda to me but im new to this stuff and will probly be awhile before a can post a pic of it..and i dont know anybody here either..Thanks!

I am not sure why someone would lie about having bucknasty strings on a bow. As long they are not in bad shape, and serving is not separating anywhere, I would probably go by the man's word.

Strand count could give you a clue too. The Barracuda strings are made really light (to gain some speed) , maybe only 16 strand, while I think John uses a 20 count of 452x. For a quick count just count the yoke strands on one side and see if there's 4 (16 strand) or 5 (20 strand).

Thanks for all the input! I couldnt just take the sellers word for it because the DXT i got was not as described and there was alot of shipping issues..I did manage to get it confirmed as a bucknasty at my local mathews dealer..But now the question is..What does a bucknasty string for a DXT cost?
