Reylamb ,
I think they looked fine, kind of a neat change to me . I am just wondering if the material used is the same as the previous Zebras or not ? Probably is !!

O.k. , First update : I got it paper tuned this afternoon in less than 10 minutes.
It is shooting my 350 grain arrows so good I think I' ll keep shooting them= No recoil and quietttt!!!!!
After paper tuning I sighted it in with my Cosmic directly off of the Ultra2 and it was only shooting left about 1/2 " at 20 yrds on the LX. Easy change ,only one adjustment !! I have only shot one time in months(besides testing to buy this bow) so ...... first afternoon of really shooting the LX , I shot as well as I ever have . I shot 18 of 20 in the ten ring at 20 yrds , and went 4 for 4 at 30 ! I' m going to chrono it Sunday so I' ll let you know what we come up with !

So far, I absolutely love this bow !!

I shot th LX last week at our local shop. The bow seemed to have a slight vibration to it. I have a Legacy and a Conquest III and was really surprised after I shot this bow. I saw where someone else experienced the same thing. Our shop is thinking it' s just that particular bow and may send it back. I don' t know. I guess I' ll keep my Legacy which shoot GREAT.

Azmedman,

Chrono' d mine at the shop and set up at my friend' s yesterday. Here goes :

New at shop with only a loop and kisser button , w/Mathews prong style rest @ 74 # = 275 fps with a 473 grain arrow

Set up w/ Tru-peep ,loop, Wisker Biscuit rest =

62 # - 352 grain arrow = 290 fps - 80%-30 "
74# - " " " = 309 fps- 80% - 30"
" - " " " = 308 fps - 65% - 29.5 "

74# - 393 grain arrow = 296 fps- 80% - 30 "

A similar set up we were tinkering with on a MQ-1 was resulting in a 4 fps loss with the Biscuit compared to a prong style rest.

Like you said =not Black Max or BK 2 speed but still impressive !!

All of my friends commented on how quiet the LX was, everyone seemed to be really surprised !

I took it Turkey hunting and changed to 29.5 " draw/65 % which was easy and convenient for seated shooting from the ground. No turkeys = but fun anyway !!
Hope yours comes in soon and let me know how it does !!

CBM,
The new Zebra strings are made from 1425 material. It was developed by BCY & Matt McPherson. They say that it is somewhere between 452 & 8125. Low stretch, high speed.
