I' ve shot and hunted with a LOT of cut-on-impact heads (Magnus, Zephyr, Woodsmans, Steelforce, etc.). My favorite in either a 2 or 4 blade configuration is a Zwickey Eskimo...hands-down. Followed up in a close second by the Woodsmans. some of the other ones, I wouldn' t hunt anything bigger than a gopher with.

Years ago, I used the Bear Razorhead, then the Razorbak 5, then for the last 20 years I' ve used Thunderheads. This summer I' m going to test the Spitfire and 100 grain cut on contact Razorbak.

I' ve been using 100 grain Muzzy three blades but I' m curious about the Rocket Ultimate Steel. My reservations stem from the 7/8" cutting dia.. I would think the smaller diameter would penetrate better but would leave a smaller wound chanel. Any input?

Do not use Grim Reaper Broadheads. I shot a nice buck last fall with them and the broadhead didn' t penetrate the chest. My buddy shot the deer 5 minutes later and we found the broadhead in the chest wall. Also the heads are not tough enough to be shot again. They are get bent easily.
