I used a Magnus snuffer 125 boardhead and it did a great job on a nice 190 or so pound Buck last Year. Hopefuly this year (2003) They will just a good on Bear. What Broadheads does everyone else use? and on what type of Game?

I have used a number and all have worked well; Wasp SST, Rocky Mountain, Thunderheads, Magnus, Zwickey and Muzzy to name a few. I use the 3blade 100 gr muzzy for deer and bear and 125 Muzzy for elk and moose currently.

I' ve used Rocky Mountain, Thunderhead, and currently am using Muzzy 125 grain. All have woked well on whitetail, mule deer, antelope, african plains game(used the RM there). I prefer the Muzzy, they seem to fly better, they don' t come apart and they make huge holes.

I have used all sorts of differnt heads for hunting, but my bread and butter broahead is Muzzy. Not so much the style or wieght, as I change that from year to year, but the brand it' self has proven to be very reliable and easy to work with. The Magnus Snuffers you are using are excellent heads with a very loyal following. Magnus makes outstanding products with the best warrenty in the industry.

The Wasp SST is very good. I' ve also had good luck with the Bear razorhead. Next year I' m going to try the Magnus Stinger.

I have used Thunderheads on every animal that I have hunted with a bow. But, I have only shot a couple deer with them. :D

They are VERY sharp out of the box, they fly GREAT, and they can leave some mean blood trails. They are also tough.
