Default Extreme sights

I just replaced my RT900 4 pin 29mm sight with the RT1000 5 pin 19mm and all I can say is WOW why didnt I do this long ago,The 19mm pinsare sweet, they give you way morepin on spot sighting over the 29mm pinswitch cover almost the whole spot and when you get out to 40-50 the 19mm kick but..
Just had to type and say how nice the RT1000 was....Cant wait to shoot some 3-D targets with it,let alone hunt......

Did you get the new pins with the full capture protection to keep the fibers from breaking? Those are really nice... and they also offer a polycarbonate pin guard to protect the fibers at the other weak point in past models.

I'm ordering another RT900 in a couple weeks, and retrofitting my other two with the new full-capture pins and a couple pin guards. The purple haze lights really work well too if you just want to see after dark...

Fibers are protected up to the sight itself...I was thinking about getting the light but will hold off till summer so I can try it in the evening and see if the light is needed..

my fibers got pulled out the back by the pin guess a stick or brush pulled it out of the pin..like my sight just need the fibers protected better on the back of the pin.

I've heard nothing but good things about 19mm pins. I just may have to get some to try out.
