Default DL on Bowtechs

Ok, I'm thinking of ( read; saving up cash ) buying a new bowtech, might be a 82nd or a general ( this is a hard choice, like choosin' between Lucy Liu or Evangeline Lilly )

I have a Tomkat.

Is there a way to check my DL on the mods ? So I could get my new bowtech with the same DL. Or should I meassure it with that arrow ?

I'm not sure what your asking. If your comfortable with the exact draw length of your Tomkat I don't know why you wouldn't order that exact same draw length.

What is your draw length on your Tomkat, we can tell you what mods you need for both bows.

Just order the Draw length you have on your Tomkat m8. If you are 28" on tomkat then its 28"on the 82nd or General .

what I'm asking is this; I'm planning to buy my bow at a shop and they'll have to order the mods for my DL, so if I tell them what my mods are, would it that make it easier to get my DL right......

Yes. They should have a mod chart with all the bows listed. Just a simple matter of looking up what number you currently have on your Tomkat and order the proper module that will get the same draw length on your new bow.

Not sure if this is just me, but I shoot 25" on my Tech29. When I bought the Equalizer, the 26" fit better. I would check with the dealerto see if they have the same DL module for you to try first. But you can buy and swap if it didn't fit you.
