And the Independance. Ouch, how do they preload those limbs that much and get away with it?

The Old Glory is 4 lbs. 4 oz. and the Independence is 4 lbs. 8 oz.

JOE PA,
I was wondering the same thing. That is a ton of pre-load. Probably why they need a 5" idler wheel, increased leverage. I am all for parallel limbs, I think it makes a world of difference, but that seems to be pushing the envelope.

Would the limb design of the Independance lead to an even quieter bow?

I can already envision me taking a look at these bows this year big time. I thoroughly impressed by what they did with the Freedom cam last year, but they did not offer a bow in my specs that I liked.

Of the new lineup, is there anything in the 34-36 ATA range with a brace bigger than 7"

If they have one at 34" with a 7 1/2" brace, I'm there.

I hope Pat comes on again and gives some details. Muzzyman, I think the Old Glory would be the closest at 37" ata and 7.25 brace. I think the Independance is 33.75 ATA and 7" brace.

Pat, now I know why you got that sly look in your eye when I asked you if Bowtech was coming out with a hybrid. I guess that look meant "Technically, no."

Looking at the line, I'd have to say the Old Glory is closest to what I would want for an all-round bow.

I am glad I waited to buy a new bow. The Old Glory is screaming to me!!! Buy me Buy me Buy Me. All the specs I've wanted in a bow. 37" ATA 7.25 Brace anda speed rating in the 320's. My perfect bow. I have half a mind to order one right now. But the smart half of my mind tells me to wait and shoot it first, but i'm 99.999999% sure this bow is for me. It looks like another awesome line up again this year. I can't wait to hear all the bashers and the nonsense they spread this year.

Hey Muzzyman makes ya want to give up that ugly hoyt for one of these pretty Bowtechs doesn't. I'd be willing to bet you end up dumping that ugly fat chick your currently shooting and pick up one of Bowtech's prom queens.
