What type of bowstring wax should I be using on my Hoyt compound bow? There are several choices available from each manufacturer.. some with silicone and some without. Thanks

If it is true or not, I couldn't tell you.....but I was told the kind with the silicone is what you want to use on the newer strings.
It works on mine, but I imagine that the plain stuff would too.

I would definetely stay with the silcon based wax like Bohning Seal Tite for synthetic strings.
