RE: NAP Flipper rest
If it's the flipper rest I am thinking of from NAP it's been around for years. They are cheap and do an ok job, but I found durability to be lacking. Much better rests available, but at a higher cost no doubt

MeanV2 i don't think it is the rest you are thinkin' of. NAP came out with a drop-away this year that they named the Flipper. Not really sure how it is suppossed to work.

RE: NAP Flipper rest
I ordered the NAP flipper (dropaway ) way back in the summer but apparently the design then was not working as it should. They redesigned it and I finally got it in the mail about a month ago. I am anxious to try it but, since I only have one bow and I am using it to hunt the flipper will have to wait until after January. My setup works great as it is and I do not want to mess with it right now.
I do like the idea of the flipper and that is why I got one. The forward momentum of the arrow is what causes it to dropaway and it does not require strings. It also holds the arrow on the rest when in the ready position. I don't know if it will perform to a satisfactory level but I hope it does.

I also took a look at this rest. There are five reviews on Cabela's website for it. They rated it a 2 out of 5. One guy even said that he returned it. They say its good for target shooters but not a good idea for hunting. Take a look at the reviews on Cabela's
