Default NAP Hellrazors & my new arrows

Well I know its mid season but I've been limping on 3 remaining injured arrors since I havent had the time to make my new ones. I have my 5 day hunt coming up and I managed to make up 5 of my new arrows. They are CX 3D selects. I tried my hand at fletching for the first time and didnt turn out to bad. Used 2" Blazers and the blazer wrap thingies. I was attemping to see just how fast my bow could shoot with a lieghtweight arrow and compare it in the field taking down deer to my others I have used. To keep it light I planned on using the muzzy 75gr. BTW this worked out to be ~310gr @ 285fps, a far cry from the Buckskins advertised 306fps but still plenty fast enough for me.

But when I got up to the 'camp' tonight I misplaced the Muzzies and didnt have them with me! Its a 2hr+ drive back home and I didnt know where they were so I went to the nearest Gander Mnt. and their selection wasnt that impressive. Looked to be out of stock of about 50% of what little they had anyhow. Decided on the 100gr Hellrazors, they looked very similar to the G5 that seems popular. Hope they work well since these next few days are pretty much all I have to hunt. They didnt seem quite razor sharp out of box, similar to what I hear with the Montecs.

Any secret to sharpening these a bit? I've never sharpened a broadhead before. Do you just lie them with two edges flat on a stone and work em back and forth? I dont really know how sharp you can get a 60* edge, maybe there as sharp as they're going to get.

They need a little sharpening out of the package, IMO. Diamond stones, working across the edge, has worked well for me. Then a really fine ceramic, followed by stropping. Hope they shoot the same as the Muzzy for you.
