My friend and sponsor, a sales rep, just got back from Walla Walla from attending Martin's sales meeting. I don't have any details at this time as I expect to meet with him on Tuesday.

BUT, the new FireCat has an IBO speed of 345 fps and that's not their fastest bow for 2008.

BG, let us know the specs when you get them please? Specifically brace height, axle to axle length, draw adjustable or not, plus let off adjustable of 65%-80%. Thanks.

Till I come up with details go over on www.3Dshoots.com and check out the thread entitled "2008 Martin Catalog". I should be able to cinfirm some of this later, but someone got in ahead of me, but who cares. The info is there.

Quite interesting. I'm thinking I might have to custom order a 50# Slayer. At my 27" draw I should still be able to set up a 3D bow and get about 310-315 fps at 50#. Why shoot more? I'm an old senior and don't have to shoot more than 35 yards anyway.

Really don't know what I'll do for sure. I absolutely detest the idea of having to go back to a cable guard bow. After shooting one with X cams it hard to revert back to ancient technology.
