Default Bowtech Commander

Anybody know if they are offering it next year? I got one and think its the finest bow I ever owned so far. It tuned quicker than any bow I ever setup. And I am getting 275fps with a 435gr arrow. Not bad I think. And I like the extra ATA for stability. Taking it out this week for the first time.

Love my Commander as well. I'm getting 276 with a 485 grain arrow, but I'm drawing 32", so it is kind of cheating. Can't wait to try out the new bowtechs though, may have to get a new one, or a target one!

Mike, I am kinda surprised your spined correctly with a 350 arrow and 125gr head and 32" arrow.

I am showing a little weak at 29.5" draw and 100 gr head with 350 Edge CX.

My understanding is that the 2008 commander will be a little faster than the 2007.

There is a good chance I could use a little heavier spine, could possibly cut a little off mine (maybe 1/2"). Any other arrow you would recommend for that length?

Specs for the 08 Commander are 37.5" ATA, 8" brace, 26.5 to 31.5 draw lenght, mass weight 4.9 andIBO of 310-318fps

Forgot the let off is adjustable 65-80%

Ok, so it smokes my commander. Thats ok. I chrono'd a 355gr arrow and got 299fps on the nose. About the same as the sticker tested.

I would not go that far BC.

The specs of the 07 are
ATA 37 1/4", brace 7 1/2", mass weight 4.5lb, IBO 310-318fps and adjustable let off 65-80%

They added 1/4" to the ATA, 1/2" longer brace and 0.4lb heavierbut kept the same IBO speed.

Oh, I see. On my paperwork, it said it was tested at 301fps at 29" draw. I assumed the new ones were 18fps faster.

Thanks Aussie.
