I started out with a Copper John Dead Nuts Hunter (5 pin) but had extreme difficulty seeing the pins even in normal daylight so I changed to a Toxonics K9-HD. This is the brightest sight I have ever seen. Here in Wshington State we are not allowed to have any electronic devices on our bows. My eyes arte 69 years old and I have never had a problem seeing my pins . . . except in total darkness. [8D]

both of those are good sights, heard a lot of good things about the G5 sights. i use viper sights and love them, been using them for years. light weight, bright, tough and easy to adjust. i would never use another sight.

i've been lookin at the G5's also... they seem like a pretty well built unit and any excuse i can use to dump the old tru-glo 5 pin would be awesome... might have to jump on one next time to the petting zoo...

I have the G5 LE and for the most part it has been a great site. The only complaint I have is the screws that hold the pins are a little week but if you do strip them out just call G5 and they will send new ones with in 1 week (per another member)

Other then that the sight is fine but do invest in the extra led light that is very useful. Also I may up grade to the .19 pins over the stock .29 since I shoot in a 3d league. .29 is kind of big for me personally. Also this is my first bow set up ever and I figured this out in no time.

I love my Spot-Hogg sights. Theres no chance of having any problems with them. They are very durable and easy to adjust.

I have been looking at the G5 ME with .019" pins. I got lucky the other day and my local shop had on installed on a Drenalin and I am very excited about the floating smart pin.

+1 the Flashpoint by Black Gold. Always the same brightness no matter the light conditions. These pins don't block out the vitals in bright sun light like my Vital used to.
