Default Mathew's Switchback XT vs. Bowtech Tribute

I have a Switchback XT and have been looking at the Bowtech Tribute. The Tribute feels better in my hand, but I have not shot it. Anybody out there have experience between the two? Let me know.

Thanks Advance

Jeff

I have the XT... my buddy has the Tribute. I personally like the XT better... he likes the Tribute. I would go shoot it. You will probably know w/out doubt which is better for you.

The XT's valley isn't as abrupt as what's on the Tribute's. I've shot my buddy's XT and he's shot my Allegiance and he said he'd rather have my grip than his.

The large grip on the Matthews tends to make people grasp instead of resting. Both draw smooth. I like both bows. I'd recommend shooting the Tribute and then deciding.

You can always replace the grip on your XT with a thin one if the grip is an issue for you.

I had a Switchback when I shot my first BowTech Allegiance. It took me about two weeks to sell my Switchback and buy my first Allegiance. Since them I have bought another Allegiance and two Guardians. However, I do believe the feel of a bow is a personal preference. What feels right to you may not feel right to me. Good luck and shoot both bows before you make a decision.

I have 2 BT's. 1 Tribute and 1 Equalizer. I have shot most of the Mathews Bows but absolutely went with the BT AFTER I shot both. SHOOT both and go from there. You can't go wrong with either. I have a short draw due to being vertically challenged...LOL.. The BT Equalizer and Tribute work and feel best for me. Good luck.
