RE: new sight question

Hey guys,

I just went to an entirely new setup this year. I went with the 07' Martin Cheetah, G5 Optics LE sight w/light, droptine QS whisker biscuit, Timberline Archery No-Peep. I love it. I did however, while sighting it in, overtightened the screw on the top pin and the screw broke. I called G5 and they said no problem and sent me a new one!

I have heard that their service is second to none. Thank god I have not had to experience it yet!:D How do you like the LE and light? I want to go to that so I can have 5 pins instead of 4.

Redneck,
They just shipped the Optix ME with the .019 pins a week or two ago. I am not sure how you got yours so early.....maybe you got the .029 pins. I kept up with G5 and all the distributors and got one as soon as they came in.
DavePjr,
Where do you get those fitz fibers??

RE: new sight question

No, I have the 0.019 pins, butI did recieve the sight about two weeks ago. What I meant was that I have only had to weight 6 months was because that is when I ordered it. If I would have ordered it at the same time as you I probably would have had to wait the same as you.

After I broke 1 of my screws they sent me 5 new ones so that i have back-up no questions asked. The guy did tell me that they are working on fixing the issue.I told them to just add lock washers.

here is the site for the Fitz Fibers.

What did he say when you told hom that? If they do it tell them to send you a royalty check for fixing their product:DLOL.

The guy just kind of ignored me. It's a $.02 fix and they are going to spend a ton of money in house to try and think of another way to do it. Heck, I wasn't looking for moeny out of it. It ws just simple common sense I thought. However, that's big business for you. They often overlook the simplest ways to fix a problem.

I guess too their design team would have less work to do too. lmao:D

Yeah, they sure would. I'll make sure too pick some up so I don't break them, then have to weight for them to ship me a new pin with the season right around the corner. Heck I haven't even sighted in yet, I still need to buy a chronograph so I can have a starting point with this sight. I still need a bow press too[:@].
