Why don't you buy a pack of mx3 from BP and order a pack of slick trick from Gary himself. This way you have both. Unless you plan to carry just 3 heads in the quiver.

Don't overlook the Wac'em Exits. They're a 4 blade BH that did well during testing, are very sharp and very durable.

This is my first yr trying them out. However, after putting 1through a target and then almost the whole way through a pallet (back side of blades were even with wood)and then pulling it out with my BH puller I'm impressed with the strength of the head.

2007 100 and 125 grain Tricks have ferrules of steelway stronger than aluminum, stronger than 416 stainless, stronger than molded (MIM) heads, and stronger than Titanium. They come with 4Solingen Germany Lutz razor sharp .035 blades. With Alcatraz Bladelock they are supremely strong, and blow a great holewith 4 blades. Wood, steel drums, cinder blocks, any animal, they are good to go.

Flight, number of blades don't matter, Tricks began the super short revolution back in 2000 with the 100 Mag outflying the old best selling 3 blade heads due to their outstanding aerodynamics. Hope that helps.

Oldhootowl, I could be wrong here but I was under the impression that titanium was stronger than steel. Regardless if it is a slick trick or not.

Both are good choices, but I like the Slick Trick Magnum 100gr. alot better. It did a heck of a job last year on my black bear and two whitetails.

Slick Trick Magnums any day over a Muzzy. Muzzy used to be an awesome head but anymore, not so much. Weak blades and aluminum ferrule.
