Default pipe cutter

This might be a dumb question but I am going to start making my own arrows and I'm trying to minimalize the costs.
Anyone tried cutting arrows with a pipe cutter ?
I know they cut straight and square perfectly.

I think it would work for aluminum arrows. I just use a hacksaw and square up the end with a manual .30 calibercase trimmer that I use for reloading my '06. Rifle case mouths must be perfectly square as well. Works great.

I use a tubing cutter on aluminum arrows and it works well. I used to use a dremel on carbons but never could get a good square cut that I was happy with. I have since gotten a Harbour Frieght Mini Cut-Off saw for the carbons. BIG difference and it cost less than $30.
