Long ATA Bows?
#1
What are some good long ATA bows. I like longer bows and shoot better with them. It also has to have a smooth draw. If im not comfortable when drawing, holding, and releasing then I can't hit the broadside of a barn. What are some good bows that are 38" and longer? I shoot with a release not fingers. Also one more qeustion with a longer bow should I have a longer stabilizer like 10'' or so?

I shoot the Commander from Bowtech.37 1/4" ATA and very smooth shooting, smoothest bow on the market IMO. Definitely worth a look for you. The Montega from Hoyt is a monster, like 42" ATA. I have shot it, pretty nice, but more geared to the finger shooter. Pretty slow in comparison to other bows out there right now.

I just got in my 41" a-to-a Bowtech Constitution I'll be using for 3d the rest of the year and for the first part of next... 8" brace height and my 60-lb. bowlit up the chrono at the factory before being shipped out to the tune of 305 fps -- that's with a 300-grain arrow at 29".

Good call Greg, forgot about the Constitution.. A guy I shoot with had shot one last year for 3D and 5-spot and really liked it. He is Hoyt sponsored now though, and shoots a 38 Pro
