DIAMOND BLACK ICE???
#2
I have shot my Black Ice quite a bit this year, and have nothing but good to say about it. The grip is great, quiet, very Low shock at the shot, overall the Black Ice is a top of the line single cam bow.

IL bowhtr, Ryan Aller did a real nice review of this bow. C if this takes u there: http://www.huntingnet.com/articles/articles.aspx?articles_id=517. I did shoot & own the bow earlier this yr. Very good bow for the price. Easy to draw, & quiet.

It got very good marks in the recent 2007 head to head bow matchup.
I knew it was a good bow, but was surprised how well it did.
It can hold its head up there with any single cam.

I have a Black Ice and would recommendit to anyone.
This bow impressed me so much I replaced the Switchback I had been shooting for 2 years.
The Black Ice does everything well. You can't go wrong IMO.

Funny, but I was just at Cabelas yesterday. I looked at just about every bow they had (just for kicks, I guess). Although I like a longer ATA myself, I decided that if I had to buy any bow at Cabelas, it would be the Black Ice. Very smooth draw, solid wall with a good valley. Excellent grip. The only other bows that I liked were the Reflex Ridgeline, the PSE Firestorm X, and the Browning Illusion. At $699 and 749, I really think the last two are overpriced for a box store bow.
