I purchased a Summit Goliath last season and used it more than I have any other climber I've had. It is extremely easy to set up and use. No squeaking or rattling when climbing. The Goliath is the larger version of the Viper.

I don't have the experience dkbs has, but the only stand I've owned is a Gorilla Grey Back climber. It's very light and roomy but my favorite part about it is the hammock style seat. It's comfortable and doesn't collect rain or snow.

I too have a gorilla greyback magnum. Picked it up off of sportsmans guide for $129 last fall. Nice stand, compact and pretty light too. I will mount it with quick disconnects to my other day pack though, the packstraps it somes with are not the best.

I got the summit goliath half way through the season last year and couldn't be happier! Quiet while climbing and super comfortable! Summit skin stinks though. It started coming partially off as soon as i put it on and to messy to take it off. Awesome stand!!

I have a Summit 180 and love it. It's a little heavier than some other climbers out there but is absolutely rock solid in the tree. I have no fear of it moving on me. I'm 6' and 245lbs.

I have a Summit Viper SS and don't feel that they come any better. Very comfortable, light-weight, and sturdy.
