I have it narrowed down to 3 sights right now ... new 07 copper john and the Sur-Loc lethal weapon.
I have yet to see any reviews on the CJ dead nuts 2 supreme so I am a little hesitant about it. The sur-Loc is supposed to be a great sight ... what are everyone's thought on the sur loc sight ... are they bright etc etc
it will be used for hunting/3-d targets

I tested a Lethal Weapon a couple years ago and I really liked the sight. As far as I'm concerned I think it has the best, most precise adjustments of any pin sight I have used; and I have several Spott Hogg sights. The fifers seem to be a good quality as these old eyes have some trouble with brightness, but the .019 pins jumped right out at me.
That being said I would not use this as a hunting sight, as is. The pin guard is just too narrow and does not protect the pins well enough, IMO. The pins need to be recessed more to protect them from brush or tree limbs. It would make a great 3D sight, however.

I have the LW 2M and I think it's awesome. The pin adjustment is extremely precise and the whole unit is very well made. I did do a Fitz Fiber (www.fitzfiber.com) upgrade to the sight pins using a foot of LD fiber for each pin, they are screaming bright and more durable that stock fibers (I do this to all my sights, not just the LW). I also got the lense adapter to add more protection to the pins: http://www.lancasterarchery.com/shop...oducts_id=7399.
As Greg alluded to the pin guard isn't very protective I may try screwing in a UV filter into the lense adapter this year which will totally cover the pins.

I was unware of different types of sur loc "Leathal Weapon"sights ... Here is a pic of the sur-loc LW I am talking about. I believe it is called the sur-loc LW "Special Ops 2." The pic guard looks much better on this one ... replacing fibers in this may be tricky though ...

I have a Cobra with that same pin design. Problem with it is that the fibers stand too far out from the pin and get snagged and broken very easily, it's actually a worse pin design than the 2M. I was able to upgrade the fibers in my Cobra with Fitz but you're right, it was tricky.
