Both are good bows. You just need to shoot both and purchase the one you're most comfortable with.

I have shot a Drenalin, XT, & Allegiance at a proshop. My personal opinion is buy which ever one "feels right" for you. I personally liked the Bowtech over both of the Mathews bows. The XT was probably the nicest puller of em' all, with Allegiance 2nd and the Drenalin batting clean up. I felt that the Bowtech was 2nd also in the hand shock dept.As far as noise and speed, theAllegiance took 1st being pretty quiet and very fast with the speed mods installed. That said along with the $ difference between Bowtech and Mathews makes me lean toward Bowtech every time. Basically they are neck and neckeach with some slight differences respectively. But hey, that's just my opinion, take it for what it's worth.

I think that Greg/MO covered it for you ,but I shot a switchback and an XT. Chose the Switchback. Be careful before choosing ANY bow w/ such a short ATA. Both bows are great but the string angle bothered me w/ the XT.

I have not had any limb issues w/ my switchback xt, nor my friends w/ the switchback. I shoot quite frequently and have noticed that the XT gets alot of cable wear where rolls over the cam... after I shoot the 2 indoor leagues this year I will probably have to replace strings/cables.
Still love it though.
