Default BowTech Constitution

I have been looking at new bows and as a finger shooter I am looking for feedback on this bow. Has anyone shot this yet?

I used to shoot fingers, now I use a release, but the Constitution I think would be good for a finger shooter. I shot one, and they are nice, as are all bowtechs! BTW, Hoyt came out with the Montega this year, which is designed for fingershooters. Way longer ATA. I would definitely check that out as well.

I just checked on Hoyt's website, the Montega is 45" ATA and IBO speed is 270 which is pretty good. Worth a look I think if you are in the market.

The Old Glory is an even better option than the Constitution with the longer ATA. I've got an '06 for sale if you're interested PM me.

The Constitution was my 3d bow last year and is now my buddies 3d bow for this year, I will go out on a limb and say it is one of the best bows I have shot and even tho I now shoot with a release I did try it out using fingers ( cause I forgot my release) and it is a great finger shooters bow.

I shoot a Mathews and a Bowtech Old Glory. I can speak for the Old Glory being an excellent longer ATA bow.

My buddy has the Mathews Ovation which is 40" ATA and loves it. Shoot them both then choose.

Thanks for the input. I'll get to the shop and try these bows out.

I have shot the Constitution on numerious occasions and though I never shot it with fingers I would think that it would make an excellent finger shooter bow. The axle to axle length and brace height would be excellent for this application plus you aren't really losing any speed or KE with this design.

you can make a mathews ovex - an ovation riser and limbs w/ apex cams - speeds it up - would make a nice finger bow along w/ the others mentioned.

I currently shoot a Bowtech Independence which I believe ATA is 39" and have shot with fingers and release. I can say the bow is extremely forgiving. I think they discontinued the Independence for the Constitution if I'm not mistaken?
