Arrow Rests
I'm in the market for a new arrow rest, and I'm looking at the GKF Premier and Fall Away, MZE, either of the Trophy Taker Models, and the NAP Quiktune 4000. Does anyone have any experience with these rests? I'm also open for suggestions on other rests if anyone has any good ones I didn't mention. Thanks

RE: Arrow Rests
I have used the standard trophy taker for 4 or 5 years now and I believe that drop away rests are more forgiving of shooter error and arrow spine. I have a 50lb bow that I had a trophy taker on that I could shoot anything from a 28" 2013 with a 100gr head to a 26" 2314 with a 90gr head and they all tuned and shot very well with broadheads. I am shooting a 64lb bow now with the same rest and I am getting the same results. If I switch back to a prong rest with the same bow most of those arrows won't tune.
I hope I helped

I love my NAP Quicktune 4000. It has been perfect since I installed it. To enhance the QT 4000 features I am now working to perfect the True Fire X-Caliper in the Relax to Fire Mode. The combination will provide unbelievable accuracy and be awesome when perfected.
I shoot Easton 2213's with 100gr Thunderheads from a Mathews 'FX' 28" draw at 67#. It's an intimidating combination.

RE: Arrow Rests
Timbawolf98 all the rests you mentioned are great rests. I myself have a lot of experience with the Golden Premier Fall Away. It is a great rest & works super. If you only want a hunting rest I think I would take the Mirage over the GPFA because it is a little more geared for hunting. The GPFA is a little more geared for serious 3-D, FITA, and Spot Shooting if you ask me. It does have one cool feature the Mirage dosn't & that is you can shoot it in the up position just like any other premier rest if you needed too in an emergency situation.
as always just check them all out & go with the one you like best. as always look at the companies reputation & the warranty.

Moonge, this will be for a combination 3-D and hunting rig, so I am leaning towards the GPFA because our bow season only lasts 1 1/2 months, so it will be used more for target. Thanks for the help!

RE: Arrow Rests
Used my trophy taker in competion 3d and now in hunting and Im out of rest market. Trophy taker is everthing I want in rest. Simple and easy to set up. I took advise from George Dixan and glad I did. Email me if you have any questions and I will be glad to assist you. Trophy taker is great rest. Legacy and Trophy taker are great combo.
