I just ordered my 07 allegiance in hardwoods hd. I think I am going witha viper predator sight in hardwoods hd. I am putting a stealth stabilizer on it 6 inch long in hardwoods hd. I am unsure of what rest I am going to use. Maybe the apa twister safari, qad ultra rest ld, or muzzy ze.

I've been shooting an APA Twister Safari for over 2 years and really like it. Its very quiet, secures the arrow better than anything and is amazingly accurate. Its worked flawless since the day I put it on. There are a few little minor quirks with it. If you decide on this rest, let me know and I'll give you the rundown.

just curious, is there any differences from the 05 allegiance to the 07 other than the cams. i have an 05 its fastbut i think the grip leaves something to be disired

passthru, I just upgraded from on 05 to an 07. There is actually quite a bit of difference IMO. Some aren't different from 06, but if you're thinking of going 05 to 07, its quite a bit. The ability to swap modules is a bonus. The smooth mods are very nice. I"m shooting mine at 70lbs and not having any difficulty. I'll turn it down shortly, but so far, so good. The offset limb pockets making finding a rest that will fit much easier. The center shot has been pulled in to the riser some to help this out tremendously. The weight has gone down 8oz. Doesn't sound like much, but its actually pretty noticable. So far, I'm thrilled with mine.

Apart from the name most everything has been changed. Cams are now draw length adjustable with the speed/smooth options. It also has the same riser as the Equalizer which is why its so much lighter now. Much improved grips also. New bow really, same in name only.

Yep, I think I'm more excited about my '07 Allegiance as I am any bow, including the Guardian... I'm still not selling my '06, as it was SUCH a great bow.
