I think the wolverine is pretty much exactly the same as the KONG stand made by Gorilla. Last year I think the kong stands were selling for 69.95 at Bass Pro. This is the best stand I have found for the price. I hope my walmart puts them on sale for $37. Right now they are $49 but that is still a great price.

It was very quiet and most importantly....comfortable for several hours. I'll be using it for the rest of the season anytime I can. I'd recommend it to anyone who was looking for a new climberstand. Bottom line is you can't beat the price.

in my walmart this morning and the price is down to 70.00. i just bought one last week at 90.00 and they told me to bring in my receipt within 10 days and they would refund the difference. they must have 50 of these stands in stock so i expect the price to drop even more and when it does i might have to pick up another one as i really like the stand. it's well built and the full body harness is really nice too.

I found out they are on sale here for 45.00 for the climber and 20.00 for the hang on. They are on clearance already.

I have bought one and have loved the thing so far. It is solid in the tree, easy to hang, and best of all cheap and available at wal-mart. How can you go wrong for that price. Just need screw in steps and you are hunting.

Is this worth the $89? I don't think that I will have any luck finding the sale that some of you have. But I could really use a good tree stand. Think I will go this week to see if they still have them.
