I know BowTech use what they feel are the best components to construct their bows and most often any bow is only as good as the person shooting it and the company behind it.
I know BowTech has gone out of their way to help people even when they really didn't have to and to me that speaks volumes...

I currently own 6 BowTech's (7 including my girlfriends shh don't tell her I said that but I paid for it...LOL...) I've yet to have any problems with any of them.

They do offer some very lightweight models and for 2003 they have lightened most of the bows up a little from 2002.

My advice would be to go to a shop and give em a try ... Heck try as many bows as you can even from other manufactures too and then form your own opinions and act on them...I think you'll like BowTech's line...I do...

I personally buy ALOT of different bows..generally from 6 to 8 per year..although those days are fading fast, for the past year or so, Bowtech has been my fave company by far. The bows are solid, performance is as good as it gets and betetr than the majority, and they are very shootable for the great speed they generate. In addition unlike the majority of manufacturers the company is very accessible and approachable by the customer.

I'm very pleased with my BK II. For a short brace height the bow is very shootable. For the speed it generates it is quiet and has very little hand shock. I have shot a lot of different bows over the past fifteen years and nothing compares to the bowtech. Not the cheapest bow out there but well worth every dime in my opinion.

I think you'd be happy with any of the Bowtech line. I have a bowtech Patriot and am in love with it! It helped me get over my target panic and has really devistated the deer this year! If having a really light bow is important, make sure you also checkout the Parker UL 31. Its really light and performs!

Good Luck!

PRACTICE....PRACTICE....PRACTICE......SUCCESS!

The Bow-Tech company has introduced a new bow for the 2003 season,it will be available in January. This new bow is along the same line as the patriot which we know has been a huge success for Bow-Tech.
this bow has been named the Extreme VFT

Patriot-IBO=312-320
Extreme VFT-IBO=325-333

Patriot Brace=7.25
Extreme VFT Brace=6 5/8

Patriot axle=33.75
Extreme VFT axle=34.0

Patriot wieght=4.25 lbs
Extreme VFT wieght=3.75 lbs

I like Bow-Tech's accomplishment's since they have arrived ,my daughter shoot's the Rascal and I shoot a Golden Eagle Splitfire ,but you can bet on what my next bow will be either one of these 2 will be perfect.

Check out www.bowtecharchery.com under what's new

I have owned 4 different BOWTECHS. The tech 29, 2 dual cam Pro 38-camo and target, and the Patriot. They are all awesome bows. I feel that the PERFORMANCE of these bows are second to none. This is the FIRST bow I ever shot that actually lives up to the performance standards that they claim. Especially for a short draw archer. The performance is ten fold on the guys with longer draw lenghts. These bows are smooth, quiet, and pack a whole lot of whoop. I was fortunate to kill at least one deer with each of these bows. From 12 yards to almost 40 yards and they performed wonderfully in the moment of truth. I have also had great response from the compnay when it came to any problems or questions that I have had. The bows are ROCK solid, but that is just one mans opinion.
