Default vapor shafts

I did a search in this forum for vapor carbon shafts made by blackhawk and couldn't find anything. Has anyone used or heard of these? I've been to their website.

Try this question over on www.archerytalk.com

I was shooting the 23 Speeds last year. More of a large diameter target and 3D arrow. They shot really well for me although the shafts I had deviated quite a bit from specs. Pretty much my opinion is that Vapors are a "middle of the road" arrow. Decent, far from junk like a few, but not top quality either.

The best arrows I've owned and shot over the last 30+ years are still my ACC's with my Gold Tips being very close to their equal. The only Easton all carbons that have impressed me (and I've shot them all) are the Litespeeds, here again a target arrow and not hunting.

I shoot the pro series 4000s. They work for me, but they are the only carbon shafts I've shot since switching from aluminum. When I'm doing my part, they do theirs.

So far they've been great for me, but I've only had a handfull of bow kills. I did hear the other day, at the shop, that Blackhawk was bought out.

A decent arrow but not a great arrow, I am not sure how they will be now that Goldtip owns them. I shot the camo's, 23 speeds& the wood grain arrows. I think the woodgrain arrow is cool looking & it would be great for the traditional shooter since any decent carbon is straighter than most cedar shafts you can get today!

I used to shoot gold tips myself. I switched to Carbon Force Radial X Weave Pro's last year. I am getting a little better groups at 50 yds. that w/ my GT's. might be my set up that favor's the X Weaves.

Vapors were bought out by Carbon Express.
