Vital Bow Gear Camelback Pendulum! **AWESOME**
#1
Hey there... Well, here it is, brand spanking new out of the package and mounted on my new Reflex Highlander lefty bow:
VITAL BOW GEAR CAMELBACK PENDULUM (LEFTY) SIGHT!
[8D]
OMG, is this thing bright! I mean this thing practically glows in the dark! I mounted it up under the light of the dining room table, then held up the bow and saw this bright pin shining like a beacon! I carried the bow down the hallway and the pin and the whole ring around the sight practically GLOWED!
[8D]
Then, I read the directions (...again) and fiddled with the pendulum action. That is really cool! It has a twist lever in the top/back that loosens up the pendulum action. Man, I can't wait to try this out!
Here is an image of it mounted up (Yeah, I'm backwards/lefty... everything is on the wrong side...

That is a good lookin sight. I just ordered the Vital Bow Gear "Angular Profix". I hope I'm as pleased with it as you are yours! Have you got to shoot it yet?

Nope... I never got a chance to shoot with it on. [&o] But I will tomorrow, you can count on that!
What I did do, however, is take measurements of my old Tru-Glo sight pin (the single 20 yard pin) before I unscrewed it. {I can hear you all now going, "Butch you goofball, you did what?"
} I measured my old pin distance from the top of the S-Coil stablizer and also from theriser, and rough sighted them witha tape measure. Then when I mounted thenew VBG Camelback Pendulum, I used those same measurements and got it all setup, and then verified it by sighted it (carefully) at full draw through the peep. That way, I won't be in danger of missing the target on my first shot with the new sights.

The orange ring actually DOES glow in the dark....to an extent. I agree, the pin is amazingly bright. I got to shoot my Star Track more tonight and have just fallen in love with it.
I have always been intrigued by the pendulum sight and I am excited to hear what you have to say about it after shooting. Keep me informed buddy. Good post.
Oh, and I got my dad a new sight for his bow. He took those measurements as well and was DEAD ON!!

Hey again,
I shot my bow late this afternoon when I got home from work. Wow, is this sight bright!!!

It's like staring into a tinybright green lazer beam! I had the sight dead on at 20 yards, but a little bit off to the left with windage. A quick turn of two allen screws, and it's all set.
I didn't try out the pendulum action though, because I'd have to go up on my roof or up in a treestand to do that. But at least I got it zeroed in at 20 yards!
It's a great sight and didn't come loose or fly apart or anything upon release of a few arrows. It's really built strong. I highly recommend anyone who is considering a pendulum sight, to look into this one....
