Default urine odor/disposal

I was wondering what methods people(male/female)use to dispose of their urine while on the stand. I don't know about you but every few hours I need to urinate.

For me, it's soooo simple: the product is called "spare Bladder". www.sparebladder.com It's a zip-lock type bag with this granular stuff in the bottom of it...after using it, the liquid immediately turns to GEL and is neutralized with no odor. I then just hang it from a small bow-hook and carry it out with me and dispose. They come in packs of three and are great. (I even keep one in my truck and use it at Football games when tail-gating etc. It beats the hell out of those stank-ass porta potty's)

I did carry a bottle with me for several years, but for about the last six or seven years if I have to go I pee right out of my treestand. After I have went I have had deer come by and some even stop and smell it without spooking them.

I just went to my favorite pharmacy and bought a rubber hot water bottle. Holds all I can give it for a single hunt. Take it out, empty it and rinse. Ready for another outing. $6 and it'll last longer than I'm ever going to be hunting in my lifetime. I too have to urinate often. Coffee is definitely a no-no in the morning.

I was also skeptical after reading that wildlife biologists have said this is a myth and I have been "jugless" for two years trying to prove or disprove the theory. It has taken until last weekend for a deer to get close enough to the spot I had been urinating in for me to feel sure that there's no way it could not have smelled it. (We're talking 10 ft. precisely downwind) The deer seemed alert but not alarmed and it left this world a few seconds later. I am now a true believer. Leave the jug at home a substitute a small water bottle. Good for thirst and cleaning arrows after a hit.

I agree, I don't think taking a leak from your stand will scare them away.

guys, there was a post on the deer hunting form a short while back that touched on this subject (not sure what the topic was though-sorry), alot of people seem to think it does`nt scare the deer and i for one agree. while i do not use a tree stand i do usually hunt in the same spot. i am not going a quarter a mile away to squat and i am certainly not using a jug nor holding it all day. it don`t seem to scare deer to me as they walk pretty near you at times and would obviously bolt if they were scared.. annie.
