Default Whisker Biscuit Question

Anyone shot whisker biscuits in the rain or snow?

I often hunt in Wisconsin. It can rain one minute and then snow the next. I am worried about ice buildup and taking a shot.

used it for 4 years now and wouldnt think of anything else. i spray mine with NO SNOW and never have any problems with accuracy. when i got my new bow they tried talking me into a fall away but you couldnt pay me to put one on. i shoot 5 arrow groups that touch at 20yds and my arrow doesnt fall off, make noise clanking against the shelf and rest (they all flop the arrow up a little), and my rest wont fail because of something mechanical.

If Ice will build up on it, then ice will build up on any rest, drop aways, shoot through's etc. In my opinion this is where the wb shines, just knock the ice off if it does build up and your good to go. Ice build up on other rests with moving parts can be more trouble, especialy if you don't notice it.

I bought the No Snow, but really haven't had to use it yet.
Bradkoz--Did you take the Biscuit off the rest to spray it?

I have had my WB freeze up in the rain/snow, but I just keep an eye on it and flick the ice off the whiskers when it happens. Arrows fly true!

i use it sprayed while on the bow and on my feathers i think it makes a big difference in the feathers so i think it works on my rest. never froze up though i always check my stuff in rain and snow. and if the rest is frozen then so is anything else on the bow.
