I know everyone says they are good camera for the money, but I bought one and couldn't get the pics to show anything but a white blank picture. I took that cam back and got a replacement. I set out my 2nd cam and it didn't take but 2 or 3 pics every week and the battery was dead every time I checked it. I got a little curious how long the battery was lasting so I checked it every 2 days. The battery went dead about evry24-36 hours in 50-70 degree weather. I was using a rechargeable moultrie battery. I gave up on the stupid thing and put away. If anyone wants to buy it from me for $50 to get it off my hands feel free to pm me. I will include the battery, box, and hookups. I am not very good with electronics soit could be something simple I am doing wrong. I know I am one of the select few that are unhappy with the cams but that is just the kind of things happen to me all the time. I am just going to save up for a cuddebackand e done with it.

I've had mine out for a week. Unfortunately there were no deer pictures. But I don't think that is the camera's fault. My other two cameras in the area had nothing either. It did take a couple pictures of me while I was walking past. The camera has around a 3 second delay. I used a cheap lantern battery from walmart and it was around 60% after 1 week. The quality of the pictures looked good. I now have two of the moultri rechargeable batteries that I am going to try. Hopefully I can get the deer to cooperate now.

I set mine up last week and the only deer that past by in the first two days were after a snowstorm so I got nothing but the snow in from of the lense, I made a little roof to prevent that from happening again,I did test it out by walking by and the pics seem to be really goodI will wait to get my first deer pics. As far as battery I bought a HD 6 volt from radio Shack and it had been in for a week adn is at 96% still so I think that is good so far

I have both the 100 and the 200 (3.1MP) models. All 7 have done me very well. Use good batteries and a solar charger and you're good to go. The 200 is a much better camera than the 100. I have over 1000 pics on min without 1 blank picture. The temp and moon phase stamping is a way cool feature. Just for reference, I also have a 3MP Cuddeback and I don't think it's worth over twice the price of the Moultrie 200.
