Just wondering, 5shot, have you tested the 100-grain Wasp Jak-Hammer mechanicals? If so, how did they perform? Do you think they would be a good mechanical for deer and turkeys? I'm shooting about 60 ft/lbs of KE, so I think that would be enough for mechanicals, wouldn't it? Thanks for the information.

You can click on the website on my profile and find a review of the jackhammers. Basicly though they are a good heads, strong accurated and sharp. They do open a little slower than some heads, but still open reliably.

I just shot a deer last Tuesday with one. Penetration thru both sides,(the first side went thru the shoulder bone). There was more blood then any deer I've ever shot with a bow, by far! My KE is 64.

I know you will not believe this, but my Dad killed 2 whitetail does with 1 shot. He uses Lightning Strike 2 carbon bolts out of his Horton X-bow, and Wasp Jackhammers. Neither deer was tracked more than 30 yds.
I couldn't belive it either!!
