RE: Info on the Browning Illusion
I bought an Illusion this august. I got it from an archery shop via E-bay since they were so hard to get locally. My local outfitted it and OK'd everything. It's a beautiful shooter. Very smooth, quiet and accurate. It's my third bow but the first that I spent so much on. It was worth it. First the knocks. It has a lousy user's manual. They say they're upgrading it but I'll believe it when I see it. Also, the servings on the string were plain lousy from the factory. That said, it's a pleasure to shoot. It has me shooting more accurate groups than I ever shot with my old clunkers. I'm getting better groups at 40 yards than at 25 with my old bows. It's got very little hand shock. Very quiet. Straight draw with level knock travel. I love it and won't shoot another bow. I've only heard good about them and I believe it. I want to blood it this season, and I expect to as soon as I get the time in the woods. It's worth the money.
