any other STS users?

I bought an STS to put on my Mathews Legacy, and I really like it. It didn't take me long, how ever, to modify it some to make it "fit" better though. I don't have any string silencers on my bow, and now I deffinately won't be needing any with this thing.
I haven't heard much about it here, but have done some reading on it. I found one ready where a guy did some test to see if it slowed arrow speed at all, and he found that it did not slow the arrow, and if any thing, he gained a very small mount of speed with it.
So, anyone else using it, if so, what bow do you have it on and what do you think of it?

I have it on my Newberry SB1 right now and I like it as well. I was able to get rid of my string silencers all together. Don't know if it really made me more accurate, maybe a little, but it was worth it to get rid of the silencers.

I had a homemade version of it on my Old Glory back in the late winter/early spring when it first started to become a hot item. It initially did seem to make an already quite bow even quieter. I did pick up 2 fps and accuracy seemed improved as well.
However, after shooting it for a month or two I opted to take it off just to see the difference again. I was more than surprised to see that I hardly noticed a difference at all. I have not had it back on since.

I have a homemade version on a Martin ShadowCat with a shoot-through cable system. In other words I have hole on the riser where the cable guard rod would have been, and it wasn't being used. It fits right between the cables with no problems, and it contacts the string right at the top of my center serving closer to the middle of the string than most I've seen.
I'm one of those that doesn't seem to be able to tell a difference. The bow does shoot different with it, but that would just be a matter of retuning the bow. I did not chrono with it so cannot comment on speed issues.
I do honestly believe that some bows can benefit from it. Just which ones is a matter for each individual to determine. Each setup will vary.

From what Len posted it has alot to do with the type of setup it is being used on. As with limbsavers it seems to have a more profound effect on bows that typically are louder or have more jump at the shot because of the specific setup.

made a big difference on my bow. seems easy to make your own though. i have a cobra side kick cable guard part # c-077 and im gonna tap out the end to fit a screw in simms limbsaver stabilizer enhancer like this. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...h-results1.jsp
